Fair thoughts about the ownership of some of the tech debts/bugs. The way I started seeing over this is, own the discussion with your Product Owner/Management and convince them on what can be done best to lessen the pain points and turn around the table to improve the entire Dev and product experience. Basically, strike a conversation to make it work.
